History

In 1936, after the visit of Sir Archibald Wavell in the USSR, Great Britain began to develop medium tank for infantry support. Sir Wavell was amazed Soviet medium tank T-28 and persuaded the British ruling circles begin to develop their medium tank. In 1938, the first tank "Senor" rolled out of the shops of the plant "Vulcan". Later tank was familiar to many name "Matilda" with index 2. The tank had a weak gun and a very strong armor. He showed himself very well on the battlefields of Africa, where the Germans were able to stop the armored vehicle only 88mm anti-aircraft fire powerful cannons. Tank and was sent to the USSR under Lend -Lisa. However, on the eastern front all the advantage over the Germans came to naught. Affected unpreparedness tank for winter conditions, weak gun and body armor ... which gave way to the T-34. Unlike Africa, on the eastern front, the Germans had the means to combat not only with "Matilda" and T-34, but with the KV-1.

In the game "Matilda" will be a real headache for the German commanders, strong armor, a great gun and good speed - all this makes "Matilda" excellent tank early period of World War II.

Delivery

United Kingdom Delivery

We endeavour to process all orders same working day. Orders between £0.00 and £149.99 will be charged from £3.95 for Standard Delivery (2-5 working days) with Royal Mail. Standard Delivery for orders £150.00 or more will be delivered free of charge by Royal Mail.

Orders can be upgraded to Royal Mail 1st Class (1-2 working days) for just £5.99, or to Next Working Day Delivery with DPD Local for £11.95.

Next working day delivery is only available for UK Mainland. Islands, Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands will need to select a Royal Mail Service as we are unable to offer a next day service to these areas.

Aerosols and certain glues can only be shipped by courier and so will attract an extra charge, each item will be highlighted, and courier postage charged as standard.

Orders placed between Friday at 1pm and Sunday evening will be dispatched the following Monday. We are closed on Wednesday so orders placed after 2pm Tuesday will be dispatched on Thursday. All goods are subject to availability and all delivery dates are approximate. Please take into consideration when ordering from us that we reserve the right to charge for any re-delivery attempt and return to sender charges.

Worldwide Delivery

We endeavour to process all orders same working day. All orders will be charged a minimum rate of £24.95, delivered by Royal Mail Air Mail as standard. Large orders will be dispatched by courier, where extra postage is due, we will contact you and advise. Insurance is not included but is required on high value items.
